INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Depiction Software collects information from our website users and other customers. In this section of our Privacy Statement, we describe how we use it to provide better services to our customers.

WITH WHOM YOUR INFORMATION IS SHARED
We do not share personally identifiable information with other companies, and we agree to keep your information secure and confidential.

We will disclose information we maintain when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena or other legal obligation, in response to a law enforcement agency's request, or in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with our rights or property (either intentionally or unintentionally). Users should also be aware that courts of equity, such as U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, might have the authority under certain circumstances to permit personal information to be shared or transferred to third parties without permission. We may share aggregate information, which is not personally identifiable, with others.

SECURITY
We use reasonable precautions to protect information about our customers while it is stored on our servers or in transit. Sensitive information that is transmitted to us online (such as credit card number) is encrypted and is transmitted to us securely. In addition, access to all of our customers' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, a billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Finally, the servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

If we change our Privacy Statement, we will post those changes on this page so our users are aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under which circumstances, if any, we disclose it. Users can check this policy from time to time to keep abreast of any changes.

Return policy

Conditions and policy for returning software to Depiction:

-All Depiction Software has been tested on the latest Windows operating systems. Depiction Software guarantees all the programs to run on Windows XP, Vista and Win 7. To effectively unlock the software on Windows Vista and Windows 7 the User Account Control (UAC) must be turned off.

Depiction proudly stands behind all programs and guarantees each program to perform the functions and features advertised on our website www.hardscapesoftware.com.

If for some unexplained reason the program will not run on your computer we will refund

100% of your purchase minus shipping costs.

If you own a MAC with windows emulation we do not guarantee performance.

Depiction Software has available thousands of decorative concrete patterns and colors on the market for many manufacturers. Please view the decorative concrete manufacturers listed on our websites and the library contents guaranteed, this list is continuously updated so please check back. Products may be discontinued without our knowing. Not everything might be showing on the website, but we guarantee what does show.

Please view the paver manufacturers listed on our websites for availability, this list is continuously updated so please check back. Manufacturers of the products may discontinue products without our knowing. Not everything might be showing on the website, but we guarantee to have in the program what is showing on the website.

Depiction Software has thousands of plant material available in the Northern Hemisphere. Not every plant may be showing on the website, but we guarantee what does show. The plants that are on the program can be found at:

We supply tech support for Depiction Software issues. We do not supply free software or Windows training. If you need training beyond the tutorial videos, it is available for a rate of $60 per hour (training sessions are in 15 min intervals).

Once a program has been unlocked there is no returning. There are no exceptions to this policy unless approved by Depiction Software.

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return any product that has not been unlocked for a refund of 20% of the purchase price minus shipping costs. It is your responsibility to return the software and have it back in our office by the 30^th day.  Any items that you received as a bonus or free must also be returned. If you unlock the software there is no refund. Depiction will not refund software unless it is deemed unusable on your present hardware.

The products must be shipped back to Depiction and a Depiction service tech must log into your computer to remove all remaining files and images that are the property of Depiction Software.

If your back up disk is lost or damaged we will provide a replacement disk for $20.00 to cover shipping and handling within the continental US (not including overnight or 2^nd day) other fees may apply to out of country shipments.

The imaging software is a two dimensional program. It is not a 3D program and cannot make three dimensional objects like serpentine walls, swimming pools or rotate a picture from front to back. However, all the afore mentioned objects can be depicted with actual photos shot at the correct perspective.

Ease of use, is a relative term as we all know what looks easy for Tiger Woods or Eric Clapton may not be easy for everyone. We guarantee the program works as it is shown on the demo videos, on our website or youtube.com. There are no written instructions for the program that come with the software, but there are over 50 training movies that teach every command tool and tutorials that teach you the process of creating a basic image. If you do not watch the movies do not expect to know how to use the program.
